American Patriotic Insights for All Americans.

American Patriotic Insights That Can Help Us to Protect Our Great Constitutional Republic, If We Get to Work

"He who endeavors to control the mind by force is a tyrant, and he who submits is a slave." --Ingersoll.

"Lenin was certainly right, there is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the basis of existing society than to debauch the currency. This process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner not one man in a million is able to diagnose." --John Maynard Keynes (as in Keynesian economics, as in the kind of economics that Pres. Obama believes in today. Be sure to watch Fox News Glenn Beck @ 5 pm weekdays. He can help you to understand these important things better.)

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. The government taxes you to get capitol to go into competition with you and then taxes the profits (if any) on your business in order to pay the losses on the 19,000 (+) government businesses. And you thought they just wanted YOU to pay "your ("fair", my addition) share." --Northern Lights Glimmer. Sept. 1983.

"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." --Lord Acton.

Cicero said: "The enemy is within the gates; it is with our own luxury, our own folly, our own criminality that we have to contend."

"Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground.
They want rain without thunder and lightening.
They want the ocean without the awful roar of its waters.
This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one, or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Power concedes nothing without a demand.
It never did, and it never will.
Find out just what people will submit to, and you will have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue until they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both.
The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress." –Frederick Douglas; Aug. 4, 1857.

"'Samuel Rutherford…wrote Lex Rex in 1644. Lex Rex means law is King -- a phrase that was absolutely earthshaking.' It needs to give the earth, including churches in America, another good shaking today! 'Prior to that it had been rex lex, the king is law. In Lex Rex he wrote that the law, and no one else, is king. Therefore, the heads of government are under the law, not a law unto themselves.'" --Francis A. Schaffer. A Christian Manifesto. P. 32.

"Let our object be our country, our whole country, and nothing but our country. And, by the blessing of God, may that country itself become a vast and splendid monument, not of oppression and terror, but of wisdom, of peace and liberty, upon which the world may gaze with adoration forever." --Webster. [And let us never forget who is the Author of life and liberty, namely God our Creator and Savior! (my addition).]

A VISITOR FROM THE PAST

I had a dream the other night, I didn't understand.
A figure walking through the mist, with flintlock in his hand.
His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood there by the bed,
He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low, he said;

"We fought a revolution, to secure our liberty.
We wrote the Constitution, as a shield from tyranny,
For future generations, this legacy we gave,
In this, the land of the free and the home of the brave."

"The freedom we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep,
But tyrants labored endlessly, while your parents were asleep.
Your freedoms gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave,
In this, the land of the free and the home of the brave."

"You buy permits to travel, and permits to own a gun,
Permits to start a business, or to build a place for one.
On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent,
Although you have no voice in choosing how the money's spent."

"Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate.
Your Christian values can't be taught, according to the state.
You read about the current news, in a regulated press.
You pay a tax you do not owe, to please the I.R.S.."

"Your money is no longer made of silver or of gold,
You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled,
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God in shame,
You've taken Satan's number, as you've traded in your name."

"You've given government control to those who do you harm,
So they can padlock churches, and steal the family farm,
And keep our country deep in debt, put men of God in jail,
Harass your fellow countrymen, while corrupted courts prevail."

"Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oath they've sworn.
Your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born.
Your leaders ship artillery and guns to foreign shores,
And send your sons to slaughter, fighting other people's wars."

"Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died?
Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride?
Are there no more values for which you'll fight to save?
Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?"

"Sons of the republic, arise and take a stand!
Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land!
Preserve our great republic and each God-given right,
And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright!"

As I awoke he vanished, in the mist from which he came.
His words were true; we are not free. We have ourselves to blame.
For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right,
We only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight.
If he stood by your bedside, in a dream while you're asleep,
And wondered what remains of our rights he fought to keep,
What would be your answer, if he called out from the grave?
Is this still the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave?

Dear Fellow Patriots and Readers,
Please feel free to take any of these materials and use them wherever you like. These eternal truths belong to every one of us, and it's high time that we put all of these valuable things to the best possible use, for the enemies of the Republic are very busy today, indeed, tearing down every God-given right. It should be most obvious, now, and so we must get busy about God's good work of freedom in America. If not, we will soon regret our reckless disregard! Let us all pull together for our beloved Constitutional Republic that our godly Founders gave us!
