Lest we need reminding...

More Scriptures come to mind re. my last post, in fact a lot more can be said on this important subject of Christians, who are supposed to be God's own holy people, forming their alliances today with unbelieving Jews. The Scriptures clearly warn us at II Cor. 6:14-17:
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: and I will receive you, And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
How strange today it is how those who claim to belong to Christ pride themselves on forming their alliance with the Jews who reject and hate the dear Savior still. Should it be any wonder that the world is now at war over these issues, really? How greatly American "Christians", or those who claim Christ as their very own Savior, find no problem in bonding themselves to antichrist, or Christ rejecters and haters. But the Scriptures also say that by their works are they known (James 2:14-19) over and above all that they claim for themselves! Indeed the blood of many today is on their hands, for they misrepresent the faith of Christ and make a mockery and a laughing-stock of it to all of the watching world. It is this, far more than any other thing on earth today, that has disrupted peace in the world and led it to the very verge of all out war. It is they who claim false things about the Christian faith that are not supportable from the Bible. It is they who divide Christendom all over again! How much they need to look to themselves and examine themselves to determine just what it really is that they represent, whether it indeed be Christ, or Belial!
